My Soccer Player

He's just so darn cute! :)

I think soccer is probably the sport that Jared enjoys playing most, even though he stopped playing it 15 years ago.  He played for about 8 years when he was young and then transitioned to basketball.  Well, lucky for Jared some of our friends out here (Pete and Sarah) are part of the Nasa soccer league, and they asked Jared and some of their other friends to come and play because they were short players.

We've been busy on the weekends, so it wasn't until these past two Saturdays that Jared was finally able to get out there and play for their last 2 games of this spring season.  He had so much fun and is looking forward to playing again when their fall season starts up in a few months. Plus the people on the team are super nice!!

This past Saturday, my friend Laura was there too, and we were able to enjoy watching our husbands play soccer together.  It's much more fun watching the game when you have a friend to chat with...especially because it is soooooo hot outside! And Laura was the smart one who brought a camera to the game, so here are some pics she took from Saturday's game, along with one from the previous Saturday. :)
